Field Case Manager, RN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Conduct visits to individuals who have sustained injuries from automobile accidents and workplace incidents in Northville, Michigan, and the surrounding counties.

• Coordinate the care of injured clients with healthcare professionals and insurance providers.

• Oversee the medical components of workers’ compensation, automobile, and health insurance claims.

• Utilize case management expertise to assist with claims and care coordination.

• Evaluate customer needs, ensure compliance with service quality standards, and assess customer satisfaction levels.

• Employ logical reasoning to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of different solutions, conclusions, or methodologies.

• Travel to surrounding counties as necessary.

• Drive a motor vehicle for field visits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Case Management.

• A minimum of three years in nursing.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• An Associate's Degree or BSN is preferred.

• A valid and unrestricted Michigan driver's license is required.

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

• Familiarity with medical management related to workers’ compensation, auto, and health claims.

• Understanding of hospital environments and administration.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

• Knowledge of principles and processes related to customer and personal service.

• Strong understanding of the English language structure, including grammar, composition, meaning, and spelling.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

• Detail-oriented approach.

• Bilingual abilities are an advantage.

• Experience in ER, rehabilitation, or home health nursing is a plus.

• CCM and/or CRRN certification is preferred.

• Insight into hospital administration and medical management of insurance claims.
