Field Auto Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Engage with customers at their residences, repair facilities, or tow yards.

• Prepare estimates and assist customers through the repair process or total loss situations.

• Carry out in-person meetings, virtual assessments, and written communications.

• Work collaboratively with body shops and service providers.

• Investigate casualty claims and relevant lines of business.

• Assess damage and interpret policies to establish coverage.

• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and video conferencing.

• Keep customers informed about the status of their claims and respect their communication preferences.

• Analyze and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.

• Utilize estimating tools, job aids, and settlement software.

• Accurately document claims in the claims management system and maintain clear, timely records.

• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

• Attend up to two weeks of in-person training at the Dallas, TX office, if necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in auto collision estimating using CCC One.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to draft accurate and comprehensive estimates.

• Proficient in using technology and various platforms for claims processing.

• Excellent time management and organizational capabilities.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Willingness to travel as needed for the role.

• Must be based in Boston, MA.

• Required to obtain all necessary adjuster licenses within 60 days of hire.

• Must maintain all licensing requirements for the position, including continuing education and state-mandated renewals.

• Must undergo a background check.

• This position is unavailable for residents of Washington, California, Alaska, and Hawaii.

• A dedicated and private workspace is needed when working remotely.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
