This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Conduct customer training on HID products, applications, and workflows through both on-site and remote sessions.
• Offer technical and application support by troubleshooting customer workflows, addressing technical inquiries, and resolving product performance issues.
• Assist in pre-sales activities through technical consultation, product demonstrations, presentations, and workflow discussions.
• Deliver post-sales application support for the implementation, adoption, and optimization of HID technologies.
• Collaborate with Sales and commercial teams throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Work in partnership with Technical Support, Service, Product Management, and other internal teams to meet customer needs and enhance the customer experience.
• Stay updated on HID products, applications, workflows, and advancements in forensic science and human identification.
• Record customer activities and relay field and customer feedback to internal teams.
• Provide support for Western North America in a remote, field-based capacity.
• Travel up to approximately 70% for customer training, technical support, pre-sales activities, demonstrations, and other customer-facing engagements.
• A Bachelor's degree in forensic science, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience, or 3 years with an advanced degree, in forensic DNA workflows or a related technical field, including hands-on laboratory experience.
• Proven experience with forensic DNA instrumentation, chemistries, and analysis software.
• Excellent technical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in conveying complex scientific and technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Exceptional customer-facing, presentation, and training abilities.
• Capacity to independently manage multiple customer priorities in a remote, field-based setting.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 70%.
• Must reside in California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, or Nevada.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive background check, including a drug screen.
