This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Build a high-performing applications team through strategic talent development initiatives.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to team members to promote professional advancement and skill enhancement.
• Design and implement a comprehensive field application strategy in collaboration with peers and business stakeholders.
• Propel design win growth by establishing ambitious goals and pinpointing new business opportunities.
• Encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and adaptability within the team.
• Cultivate and maintain technical relationships with key accounts adopting a CTO perspective.
• Work closely with segment leaders, account managers, factory engineering, and product management teams.
• Create and uphold benchmark customer excellence processes.
• Engage in customer meetings to guarantee outstanding service, prompt support, and customized solutions.
• Leverage data-driven insights and analytics to assess, measure, and report applications performance.
• Recognize trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to inform decision-making.
• Manage budget planning and oversight for the field applications function.
• Optimize resource allocation to enhance ROI and meet financial goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
• At least 5 years of experience in applications within advanced manufacturing, commercial semiconductor manufacturing processes, industrial HVAC manufacturing, or a related field.
• Strong ability and motivation to develop a deep understanding of customer applications.
• Creative thinking capabilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to diverse field situations.
• Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 35%, both domestically and internationally.
• A Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics is preferred.
