This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee the Field Applications Engineering division for Advanced Industry.
• Propel substantial growth and implement strategies to meet sales objectives.
• Formulate and execute a detailed field application strategy alongside peers and business partners.
• Cultivate a high-achieving applications team through talent development, coaching, mentoring, and guidance.
• Stimulate design-win growth by establishing targets and pinpointing new business opportunities.
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and adaptability.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with key accounts with a CTO perspective.
• Collaborate with segment leaders, account managers, factory engineering, and product management teams.
• Set up and uphold customer excellence processes.
• Engage in customer meetings to ensure outstanding service, prompt support, and customized solutions.
• Leverage data-driven insights and analytics to track, measure, and report on applications performance.
• Recognize trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement to inform decision-making.
• Manage budget planning and oversight for the field applications function.
• Optimize resource distribution to maximize ROI and meet financial goals.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 35% as required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
• A minimum of 5 years of applications experience in advanced manufacturing, commercial semiconductor manufacturing processes, industrial HVAC manufacturing, or a related field.
• Strong grasp of customer applications.
• Capacity for innovative thinking.
• Ability to adapt to diverse field situations.
• Skill in nurturing robust relationships with both internal and external clients.
• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 35% domestically and internationally, as necessary.
• A Master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics is preferred.
