Field Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver pre-sales customer assistance and training for SolarEdge products.

• Serve as the technical point of contact in the designated region for rooftop and ground-mount projects.

• Conduct training sessions at customer locations, including design and installation.

• Develop and present product and technical training materials.

• Possess knowledge of PV and energy storage modeling software, such as PVSyst, Helioscope, and Energy Tool Base.

• Ability to read and understand schematics, with a solid grasp of high voltage systems and measurement tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience is required.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.

• Strong understanding of competitors and market trends in the renewable energy field, particularly in PV and energy storage.

• In-depth knowledge of NEC and PV system regulatory codes applicable to PV installations.

• Exceptional communication abilities, including active listening and managing objections and complex technical queries during customer interactions.

• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
