This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Drive demand generation by optimizing Arrow content in designs.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs and utilize Arrow’s engineering and design services to identify and implement solutions.
• Leverage technical knowledge to influence designs through solution selling, resources, and strategies.
• Collaborate with the sales team during both pre-sales and post-sales processes.
• Offer technical support and consulting to enhance demand generation.
• Advocate for return on engineering investment, prioritize design wins, and gain support from sales teams.
• Engage with customers to acquire a comprehensive understanding of their design requirements at both the system and component levels.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to customers regarding sales.
• Oversee key opportunities and manage the opportunity funnel for designated suppliers.
• Attend supplier training sessions both in-person and via conference calls.
• Demonstrate knowledge of supplier technologies' strengths and weaknesses and their relevance to market demands.
• Educate sales teams on new products and assist in marketing these products to suitable customers.
• Manage expectations of suppliers and customers by cultivating relationships and keeping stakeholders informed about activities, plans, and progress on initiatives.
• Strengthen connections with key decision-makers among customers and suppliers.
• Participate actively in strategic branch meetings and quarterly business reviews. Develop and implement strategic technical plans based on supplier lines or customer solutions.
• Assist in planning and organizing engineering customer events and seminars.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics hardware with a bachelor’s degree in engineering; or an advanced degree with some relevant experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of specifying electronic components, including passive and electro-mechanical components.
• Experience in sales or technical sales is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to quickly establish robust relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
• Willingness to meet with customers both on-site and virtually (may require some overnight travel).
• Aptitude for solving complex problems and approaching them from a fresh perspective using existing solutions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A resourceful individual capable of assisting colleagues with less experience.
• Experience with FPGA is a plus.
• Candidate must be located in North Carolina.
