This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Create, troubleshoot, and implement testing solutions for digital, analog, and RF-based assemblies.
• Independently develop test program software.
• Design and evaluate Interface Test Adapter schematics and layouts.
• Analyze issues and propose solutions on Teradyne ATE platforms.
• Collaborate with test engineering clients to enhance testing processes.
• Suggest enhancements to improve test coverage quality.
• Release test solutions for production, considering environmental and automation specifications.
• Identify customer requirements for hardware, software, and test-cell integration.
• Create electrical and mechanical hardware schematics and PCB/interface hardware specifications.
• Innovate new testing methods and solution designs.
• Showcase tester capabilities for customer assessments.
• Assist clients with tester operation and functionalities.
• Provide training, technical discussions, and documentation.
• Cultivate strong technical relationships with customers to understand their direction and needs.
• Work in conjunction with the Field Applications team and independently.
• Leverage knowledge of ATE industry trends, competitive products, and product positioning.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical/computer engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in test engineering or a similar role.
• Preferred experience in test/product engineering with analog, digital, mixed signal, and RF testing and development.
• Required prior programming experience on Teradyne or ATE platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, C++ programming, and Windows.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Strong analytical skills and practical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven technical expertise.
• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
• Must be able to carry auto liability or minimum insurance due to automotive responsibilities.
• ITAR eligibility: U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee, or otherwise lawfully admitted under an amnesty program.
• May require eligibility for access to Federal Contracts under the “For Official Use Only” designation.
• Export licensing may be needed prior to employment.
