This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.
• Lead the optical component division as the technical expert for primary optical module clients in Chengdu.
• Collaborate with Business Unit and Sales teams to advocate for and validate optical solutions, including PAM4 DSP, high-speed lasers (VCSEL/EML/DFB), and PD.
• Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of technical support for designated optical module clients in Chengdu.
• Implement and align local customer strategies with the company’s business and product roadmap.
• Drive Design-Win projects through effective cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Business Unit teams.
• Oversee daily technical communications with customers' R&D and engineering departments.
• Facilitate customer designs by leveraging extensive expertise in optical components.
• Provide on-site technical assistance for debugging, performance enhancement, and product qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (EE), Optical Communication, Optoelectronics, or related engineering fields.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the optical communication sector.
• Demonstrated success in supporting the semiconductor optical component industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of IEEE, CMIS, OIF, and other standards in the optical communication industry.
• Strong professional grounding in optical communication systems.
• Familiarity with data center architecture and AI network architecture is a significant advantage.
• Skilled in operating specialized optical testing instruments such as DCA, oscilloscope, BERT, and Ethernet testers.
• Capable of employing test equipment for product performance evaluation, parameter calibration, and fault analysis.
• Solid understanding of optical module software design, hardware design, and PCB layout design, particularly concerning DSP.
• Familiar with the entire optical module development process.
• Profound knowledge of DSP internal architecture.
• Expertise in DSP debugging and optimization techniques.
• Extensive practical experience in DSP-related performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Willing to travel frequently for business to provide on-site customer support.
