Field Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in ensuring customer success with Agilent's ICP-OES and ICP-MS hardware and software.

• Offer post-sales technical and application support for Agilent's atomic spectroscopy products.

• Provide tailored consulting and application support both remotely and on-site for customers.

• Educate clients about Agilent's range of ICP-OES and ICP-MS hardware and software offerings.

• Aid customers in developing solutions tailored to their specific application and analytical requirements.

• Engage with customers to address inquiries and deliver product training.

• Contribute to the swift and effective resolution of customer issues.

• Share information with the Customer Service Organization to enhance knowledge transfer and expand organizational understanding.

• Take the lead in designing and delivering integrated, multi-technology solutions.

• Act as a vital source of technical expertise and industry knowledge.

• Mentor peers, colleagues, and partners to enhance workflow and application expertise.

• Comprehend customer requirements in regulated environments.

• Tackle complex, high-impact issues related to system and application engineering services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related life-science field; relevant work experience will also be taken into account.

• Over 2 years of experience with ICP-OES and ICP-MS solutions, along with a profound understanding of workflows and applications.

• Required expertise in atomic spectroscopy techniques, workflows, and solutions.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in application implementation and troubleshooting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Must be available for a flexible work schedule.

• At least 75% business travel is required.

• Must reside within one hour of a major metropolitan airport.

• Willingness to travel overnight by plane across the US and Canada.
