This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +3 more states.
• Accountable for providing field engineering assistance for all Precision Inc. products within the designated territory and/or product lines, encompassing technical product performance issues (SAR’s), product applications, and the collection of technical data necessary to quote and manufacture PPI-Global products.
• Address customer requirements within the specified territory and/or product scope.
• The designated territory will focus on Industrial and Heavy Mining Conveyor products.
• Offer technical support services via phone for the Sales Ops organization, particularly while operating from the home office when not traveling.
• On-site services encompass surveys, technical product information, conveyor design training, conveyor component training, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and applications engineering.
• Foster effective communication and a collaborative relationship with Product Engineering and the Territory Sales team to ensure exceptional customer service is achieved.
• Exhibit proficiency in utilizing computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Video Conferencing (Zoom and Teams), and email.
• Responsible for labor reporting when Precision Inc. charges for field services, detailing the work performed, time taken for completion, and costs billed to the customer for the services rendered.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines as mandated by Precision Inc. and any visited facility.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in the Engineering discipline from an accredited four-year college or university.
• A two-year technical degree accompanied by three to five years of related experience and/or training.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, in addition to strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities.
• Outstanding organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
• Actively engage in ongoing training pertinent to the role.
• Mine Safety Training (will be provided if not already obtained).
• Travel Required: 50%
• Valid driver’s license and Valid passport
