
Field and Events Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of Traversal’s events and field marketing strategy encompassing corporate events, sponsored trade shows, roadshows, workshops, and regional programs.
• Design and implement exceptional events from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, vendors, logistics, and on-site execution.
• Create and oversee regional field marketing initiatives that align with pipeline acceleration objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing to strategize initiatives that align with brand and business objectives.
• Evaluate, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of each initiative, focusing on pipeline impact and ROI.
• Continuously test, iterate, and enhance programs based on performance data and feedback from the field.
• 3–5 years of experience in B2B field marketing within a fast-paced technology company.
• Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing executive events, customer programs, and field marketing initiatives.
• Experience in managing industry conferences, trade shows, and sponsorship activations from planning through post-event analysis.
• Proficient in executing events tailored for both highly technical audiences (engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, platform teams) and executive decision-makers.
• Skilled in measuring pipeline influence, campaign attribution, and event ROI.
• Experience in managing external vendors, agencies, and production partners.
• Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities, along with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven experience collaborating closely with Sales and GTM organizations to develop integrated field marketing programs that bolster pipeline generation.
• Comfortable working across functions in a dynamic startup environment where priorities shift rapidly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30–50% as required by programs.
