This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in access, coding, coverage, and reimbursement for designated therapeutic products within the assigned region.
• Educate healthcare providers about access procedures and the resources available for patients.
• Develop and nurture relationships with nephrologists, transplant teams, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist healthcare providers with inquiries related to benefits verification, prior authorization, appeals, financial assistance, and reimbursement.
• Collaborate with HUB/Patient Services teams to facilitate and oversee the patient journey.
• Work together with Sales, Market Access, Patient Support, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Marketing, and Sales Strategy Operations teams.
• Utilize analytics dashboards to pinpoint reimbursement obstacles and track the access experience.
• Ensure timely documentation of field activities and customer interactions within the CRM system.
• Keep track of local and national access trends, payer policy modifications, and emerging access issues.
• Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and regional or national sales meetings as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• An advanced degree (MBA or healthcare-related) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in the healthcare industry.
• At least 3 years of experience in roles such as Field Access Manager, Field Reimbursement Manager, Patient Access Liaison, or similar field-based position.
• Experience in educating healthcare providers on coding, reimbursement, and patient access procedures.
• Familiarity with payer policies and coverage criteria for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
• Working knowledge of HUB services, co-pay programs, patient assistance programs, and reimbursement processes.
• Experience in supporting nephrology or transplant therapies is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration, especially with Sales and Market Access teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Ability to manage a large territory with travel requirements of 60%-80%, including overnight stays.
• Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are strongly preferred.
