This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist managers, supervisors, and senior HR personnel with federal recruitment activities.
• Provide support for staffing actions related to GS and Administratively Determined positions.
• Utilize USA Staffing to create, publish, and oversee vacancy announcements.
• Prepare content for vacancy announcements, ensuring all required position and recruitment details are included.
• Assist in conducting job analyses based on position responsibilities, qualifications, and hiring requirements.
• Aid in drafting specialized experience statements for various positions and grade levels.
• Create minimum qualification questions and corresponding assessment materials.
• Implement USA Hire and other second hurdle assessment methods when applicable.
• Evaluate applications to establish basic eligibility and confirm minimum qualifications.
• Apply federal qualification standards, hiring authorities, and veterans' preference guidelines.
• Assist in rating and ranking candidates in line with federal staffing protocols.
• Make appropriate annotations in USA Staffing and associated automated staffing systems.
• Support rating panels and provide assistance with the review of applicant materials as required.
• Help issue certificates of eligibles to management officials.
• Prepare candidate notifications, results notices, and other related recruitment communications.
• Address inquiries from supervisors, managers, applicants, and candidates.
• Facilitate general, specialized, or targeted outreach recruitment initiatives.
• Support recruitment actions performed under Delegated Examining procedures.
• Aid in quality reviews of staffing case files prior to extending employment offers.
• Assist in verifying candidate eligibility and qualification requirements before appointments.
• Draft or contribute to standard job aids for USA Staffing and USA Hire.
• Maintain staffing documentation in compliance with federal record-keeping requirements.
• Handle applicant, personnel, and recruitment information with confidentiality.
• Conduct work in alignment with DOJ, EOUSA, OPM, and federal staffing guidelines.
• Support the timely, accurate, and compliant execution of recruitment actions.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Federal Government staffing is required.
• Proficiency in using USA Staffing to post and manage vacancy announcements is essential.
• Experience in supporting federal recruitment actions under Delegated Examining procedures is mandatory.
• Background in developing assessment tools, rating criteria, or qualification questions is required.
• Experience in evaluating applicants for eligibility, qualifications, and veterans' preference is necessary.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A current Delegated Examining certification from the Office of Personnel Management is a must.
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
