This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Federal Sales Specialist is tasked with cultivating and enhancing CooperSurgical’s business within U.S. Federal Government healthcare accounts, including the VA, DoD, and various other federal agencies.
• This position is responsible for driving compliant sales of CooperSurgical’s women’s health, fertility, and surgical solutions by managing federal accounts, uncovering new opportunities, and supporting the entire sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract award.
• The Federal Sales Specialist collaborates cross-functionally with internal sales, contracts, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with federal procurement requirements, FDA regulations, and CooperSurgical’s compliance standards.
• Achieving success in this role necessitates a strong understanding of federal healthcare procurement, the capability to establish trusted relationships with clinical and contracting stakeholders, and a strategic, customer-centric approach to selling within complex government environments.
• Familiarity with U.S. Federal Government healthcare procurement processes, including those of the VA, DoD, and other federal agency purchasing ecosystems.
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and relevant agency-specific procurement requirements.
• Understanding of FDA-regulated medical device and diagnostic sales requirements, focusing on compliance and quality considerations.
• Experience in supporting proposal development for RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs in regulated environments.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across contracts, pricing, regulatory, marketing, and compliance teams.
• Professional representation of CooperSurgical’s women’s health, fertility, and surgical solutions in clinical and governmental settings.
• Capability to manage multiple accounts and priorities while adhering to deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Maintenance of existing credentialing and access authorization necessary to enter U.S. military bases and federal healthcare facilities.
• Willingness to travel and work safely within military installations and federal healthcare environments.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
