This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee SAM.gov, GovWin, FPDS, USAspending, agency forecasts, and additional federal procurement resources to pinpoint emerging opportunities.
• Identify and monitor opportunities that align with ShorePoint's capabilities and growth objectives.
• Conduct preliminary opportunity qualification assessments, including evaluating vehicle fit, capability alignment, incumbent and competitive analysis, timing, and capability gap analysis.
• Assist in go/no-go decisions through both quantitative and qualitative research and analysis.
• Examine federal budgets, appropriations, congressional justifications, and agency spending trends.
• Keep track of executive orders, OMB memoranda, IG and GAO reports, agency strategic plans, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Generate strategic insights and initial investment recommendations that support capability and corporate growth priorities.
• Create dashboards and reports for pipeline health, qualification metrics, capture prioritization, and forecast accuracy.
• Identify trends across agencies, contract vehicles, and capability areas to enhance forecast accuracy and growth planning.
• Investigate historical procurement data and track incumbents, subcontractors, award amounts, contract vehicles, and recompete timelines.
• Develop competitive profiles, customer spending histories, and maintain historical win/loss and pipeline analytics.
• Act as a strategic partner to Business Development, Capture, and executive leadership by translating procurement, budgetary, and contract data into business intelligence.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in the federal market.
• Significant research experience.
• Understanding of federal procurement processes, market intelligence, and opportunity qualification.
• Familiarity with federal budgeting, appropriations, procurement trends, and agency spending analysis.
• Insight into competitive intelligence, pipeline analytics, and growth planning.
• Experience with SAM.gov, GovWin, FPDS, and USAspending.
• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity initiatives and market drivers, such as Zero Trust, CDM, AI, PQC readiness, and cyber modernization.
• Proficiency in dashboard development, reporting, and data analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft products, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
• Ability to think critically and independently while collaborating in a cross-functional role.
• Must currently be a U.S. citizen.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if necessary.
• Cybersecurity background is advantageous.
• PMP, Certified Research Analyst, Certified Market Research Analyst, or other industry-recognized certifications are beneficial.
