Federal Business Development Manager – Additive Manufacturing

📋 Description

• Additive manufacturing is transforming global preparedness, and Phillips Corporation's Federal Division is at the forefront of this industrial evolution.

• We are looking for an innovative Business Development leader to shape the next phase of growth as the leading Federal Additive Manufacturing partner of choice.

• Move beyond conventional sales cycles to become the ultimate representative of our capabilities, forming partnerships with tier-one OEMs and essential federal coalitions.

• Showcase innovative expertise on national platforms, including prestigious forums like America Makes and various federal manufacturing initiatives.

• Assess opportunities with decisive, data-driven Go/No-Go leadership, ensuring that technical resources are dedicated solely to the most vital missions.

• Lead and synchronize elite cross-disciplinary technical teams to convert intricate engineering capabilities into persuasive white papers, executive briefings, and impactful presentations.

• Establish an unparalleled foundation of trust with OEMs, making Phillips their first and only contact for federal integrations.

• Maintain a strategic overview of the entire program landscape to identify risks and enhance performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of business development experience, specifically focused on the federal government.

• Expert-level understanding of additive manufacturing technologies and services, particularly in metal additive technology.

• Proficient user of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) for managing accounts, tracking opportunities, and accurately forecasting revenue.

• Strong skills in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for analyzing market trends, customer insights, and sales performance, as well as PowerPoint for crafting compelling business proposals and executive updates.

• Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time to attend trade shows, conferences, and other events both domestically and internationally as necessary to drive business growth.

• Due to specific client requirements, only US-born citizens will be considered for this position.
