Family Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide care to patients through telehealth visits, including phone triage calls, video consultations, and follow-up emails.

• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and participate in ongoing educational activities.

• Collaborate with both virtual and in-office colleagues through daily huddles.

• Utilize clinical expertise to deliver outstanding virtual patient care.

• Be a part of One Medical’s Virtual Medical Team, offering evidence-based virtual care to patients around the clock, every day of the year.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program with national certification.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience within the last 5 years as an Advanced Practitioner in an outpatient primary care environment, caring for patients of all ages (0+), or in urgent care or emergency medicine settings.

• Must hold a current license in NY, NJ, MA, or IL, with the capacity to acquire additional state licenses.

• For Illinois, independent practice authority (APRN-FPA) is required.

• For New Jersey, must possess Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) status with Full Practice Authority (> 5000 hours in primary care).

• Willingness to work weekdays and weekends, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday.

• Availability to work shifts ranging from 8am–7pm ET, 11am–10pm ET, 12pm–11pm ET, or 1pm–12am ET.

• Strong clinical and communication skills.

• Clinical expertise in evidence-based primary care.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology to provide top-quality care.

• Ability to communicate effectively with and care for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Capability to manage uncertain situations with patients and colleagues.

• Willingness to adapt actions to meet the needs of patients.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
