Family Law Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Providing compassionate and professional guidance to clients on family law issues

• Crafting legal strategies that align with each client's objectives

• Advocating for clients during mediations, negotiations, hearings, and court sessions

• Composing motions, pleadings, and legal correspondence

• Equipping clients with knowledge through education and effective communication

• Collaborating with colleagues and staff to enhance processes and the client experience

• Delivering high-quality and cost-effective legal services

⛳️ Requirements

• Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association

• 1–5+ years of relevant legal experience

• Excellent legal writing and communication abilities

• Capacity to work autonomously in a remote setting

• Access to reliable internet and phone services

• Dedication to professionalism, teamwork, and client representation

• Preferred experience in family law within Washington State

• Preferred background in motions practice, mediation, collaborative law, trial preparation, or litigation

• Preferred knowledge of court procedures in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties

• Preferred familiarity with Clio, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Adobe, Slack, and Apple-based systems
