Faculty, MS in Cyber Engineering Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct graduate-level courses within the MS in Cyber Engineering programs, either in online or residency formats, as assigned.

• Uphold instructional quality in accordance with course objectives, accreditation requirements, and program outcomes.

• Involve yourself in curriculum development, assessment, and ongoing program enhancement.

• Offer academic advising and mentorship to graduate students.

• Take part in faculty meetings, program initiatives, and university service activities.

• Work collaboratively with program leadership to foster student success, retention, and professional readiness.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Dean and Program Director.

• Adhere to other responsibilities and follow the policies outlined in UC’s Faculty Handbook.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Doctoral/PhD Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Cyber-Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching online at the university level, specifically in graduate-level courses.

• A degree ideally obtained from an institution that is regionally accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

• At least 18 graduate semester credit hours in Cyber Engineering.

• Strong skills in organization and time management.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral presentation, and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in effectively utilizing Blackboard.

• Competence in standard office and mobile applications.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, cloud platforms, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Knowledge of network security, system hardening, and system engineering principles.

• The candidate must be residing in the US.

• Preferred: Cyber Engineering courses and certifications from Microsoft, Google, IBM, Cisco, or similar academic institutions.

• Preferred: Documented experience in Cyber Engineering or a related field.
