Facilities Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Quickly address emergency situations, such as fires, power outages, gas leaks, water leaks, and other urgent facility incidents.

• Implement preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery as per established schedules.

• Conduct repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.

• Supervise renovation and remodeling projects in accordance with specifications and timelines.

• Analyze and apply engineering drawings and principles to maintenance and repair tasks.

• Ensure effective communication and coordination through two-way radio systems during operational activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Vocational or technical school training with at least 3 years of experience in facilities engineering or a related maintenance field is preferred.

• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply engineering principles effectively.

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.

• Safe and proficient use of hand and power tools.

• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and equipment operation protocols.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to coordinate via two-way radio systems.

• Capacity to respond efficiently to emergency situations and critical facility incidents.

• Ability to remain standing and walking throughout assigned shifts, as well as stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, and working in confined spaces.

• Capability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and licenses pertinent to the role.
