This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
β’ Quickly address emergency situations, such as fires, power outages, gas leaks, water leaks, and other urgent facility incidents.
β’ Implement preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery as per established schedules.
β’ Conduct repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
β’ Supervise renovation and remodeling projects in accordance with specifications and timelines.
β’ Analyze and apply engineering drawings and principles to maintenance and repair tasks.
β’ Ensure effective communication and coordination through two-way radio systems during operational activities.
β’ Vocational or technical school training with at least 3 years of experience in facilities engineering or a related maintenance field is preferred.
β’ Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply engineering principles effectively.
β’ In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
β’ Safe and proficient use of hand and power tools.
β’ Familiarity with relevant safety standards and equipment operation protocols.
β’ Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to coordinate via two-way radio systems.
β’ Capacity to respond efficiently to emergency situations and critical facility incidents.
β’ Ability to remain standing and walking throughout assigned shifts, as well as stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, and working in confined spaces.
β’ Capability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and licenses pertinent to the role.
