Facilities Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the development and execution of the Program Facilities Change-Over Plan and the implementation of PARs for assigned New Model Programs.

• Manage funding transfers and reallocations resulting from Program Change Requests for assigned New Model Programs.

• Assist the Body Leader and Facilities Implementation Supervisor to ensure overall financial accountability for programs and projects.

• Responsible for completing the final project close-out process and the BCE Facilities Exit Checklist, including the creation of bid specifications and necessary clarifications.

• Formulate the on-site construction facilities plan and layout.

• Develop specific safety, environmental, and emergency response protocols.

• Oversee field engineering and provide support for the installation of conveyors and facilities.

• Take charge of the Facility Launch Plan.

• Lead the project close-out process, ensuring verification and storage of as-built documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role or a closely related field.

• At least 6 years of experience using computer-aided design (CAD) software, specifically Autodesk.

• 6 years of experience in 3D spatial modeling.

• 4 years of experience in plant manufacturing, providing onsite support for conveyor systems, demolition, and construction activities.

• Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Possession of Facilities Management Professional (FMP) certification.
