This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Establish and nurture relationships with financial advisors to drive asset generation within a designated territory.
• Provide education to financial advisors regarding the products and services available through one-on-one or group meetings, branch visits, seminars, and conferences/trade shows.
• Create and execute wholesaling business strategies for the territory aimed at achieving sales objectives.
• Present sales activities during weekly wholesaling meetings.
• Maintain records of wholesaling activities and databases that include broker profiles along with current and expected sales activities.
• Collaborate with the designated internal wholesaler to meet sales targets by identifying and nurturing leads from referrals, advertising initiatives, and territory canvassing.
• Oversee the expense account within the designated budget.
• Perform additional assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Finance or a related field, along with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the financial services sector, or a comparable combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
• SIE certification required unless an exemption or grandfathering applies.
• FINRA Series 7 certification required, with the ability to obtain other necessary licenses within sixty (60) days of employment.
• Familiarity with concepts, principles, and practices of the securities industry.
• Understanding of asset management products.
• Knowledge of broker/dealer operations.
• Capability to identify customer needs through effective questioning and listening techniques.
• Skilled in organizing, managing, and monitoring multiple detailed tasks and assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in preparing and delivering clear, persuasive, and professional sales presentations.
• Problem-solving skills to analyze, research, and resolve inquiries and issues.
• Ability to assess business processes and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Proficiency with standard office equipment and necessary software applications.
• Capacity to represent the company in a professional manner.
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to cultivate and sustain working relationships with team members, internal partners, and external stakeholders.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
