This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Establish and nurture relationships with financial advisors to drive asset growth within a designated territory.
• Provide education to financial advisors regarding available products and services through one-on-one or group meetings, branch visits, seminars, and conferences/trade shows.
• Create and execute wholesaling business strategies to achieve sales targets for the territory.
• Present sales performance updates in weekly wholesaling meetings.
• Maintain records of wholesaling activities and databases, including broker profiles and ongoing and proposed sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with the assigned internal wholesaler to identify and cultivate leads from referrals, advertising efforts, and territory outreach.
• Oversee the expense account while adhering to the established budget.
• Lead initiatives, programs, or processes that involve cross-functional teams.
• Carry out additional assigned responsibilities and tasks.
• A Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Finance or a related field, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the financial services industry, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
• SIE certification is required unless an exemption or grandfathering applies.
• FINRA Series 7 license is required, with the ability to obtain other necessary licenses within sixty (60) days of employment.
• Understanding of essential concepts, principles, and practices within the securities industry and asset management products.
• Familiarity with broker/dealer operations.
• Ability to discern customer needs through effective questioning and listening skills.
• Competence in organizing, managing, and tracking multiple detailed tasks and assignments in a dynamic environment.
• Capability to prepare and deliver engaging, professional sales presentations to both small and large groups.
• Problem-solving skills to analyze, research, and address inquiries and challenges.
• Ability to evaluate business processes and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Proficiency in standard office equipment and necessary software applications.
• Capacity to represent the company in a professional manner.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Willingness to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Availability to travel up to 75% of the time.
