External Sales Representative – Contractors

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop new sales opportunities by engaging with primary contractors face-to-face, followed by quotations, calls, and emails to drive new sales.

• Research company backgrounds and other relevant lead information to identify new business prospects.

• Analyze customer purchasing trends and provide management with detailed reports.

• Input, update, and manage CRM data for leads, prospects, and business opportunities.

• Expand new business by interacting with key decision-makers in the construction sector.

• Cultivate a robust network of industry and sector partners to enhance business growth and retention.

• Meet and exceed sales KPIs and targets.

• Collaborate effectively as part of the broader sales team, alongside customer operations and logistics.

• Engage in sales meetings to discuss pipeline status and progress on sales opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in an external sales position, preferably within the construction sector, though not mandatory.

• Flexible, self-motivated, and team-oriented.

• Strong skills in negotiation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in multi-tasking, organizing, and prioritizing tasks effectively.

• Capable of thriving in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

• Must demonstrate confidence, resilience, and a target-driven mindset in a challenging yet fulfilling industry.

• Identify potential leads, manage prospects, and secure new business.

• Provide support to existing clients.

• Effectively showcase knowledge of the product line.

• Achieve set goals and sales targets.

• Experience working with building contractors is beneficial.
