Expert Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance scalable, dependable, and maintainable systems throughout frontend, backend, and data layers.

• Lead architectural choices, establish engineering standards, and promote Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

• Take ownership of and execute complex technical projects from start to finish, converting business objectives into actionable technical roadmaps.

• Mentor engineers and uplift technical excellence through guidance, knowledge sharing, and the development of best practices.

• Advocate for AI-assisted engineering workflows and assist teams in adopting AI-first development methodologies.

• Promote advancements in testing, CI/CD, observability, system reliability, and operational excellence.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering leadership to shape strategy and deliver value to customers.

• Manage operational and technical dependencies with external vendors and partners, including platforms such as Google Workspace, domain providers, email services, and RankingCoach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of full-stack engineering experience in product-driven settings, including roles at a senior or principal level.

• Expert-level proficiency in modern frontend technologies, especially React and TypeScript.

• Strong backend knowledge with technologies such as Kotlin, Java, or Node.js.

• Proven experience in leading large-scale architectural, platform, or modernization projects.

• Deep understanding of distributed systems, software architecture, testing strategies, CI/CD, and observability.

• Significant experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and influencing technical direction across various teams.

• Excellent communication abilities and a knack for mentoring and guiding engineers.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude, or similar technologies.

• Experience in establishing engineering standards and best practices across an organization.
