
Experienced Staff Accountant – Outsourced Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide processing for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, manage Payroll processing, conduct accounting reviews and reconciliations, and offer reporting support to the team and various clients.
• Complete rotational tasks in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Reconciliation, Compliance, and Financial Reporting.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to establish plans and measurable objectives for each rotational assignment.
• Assign codes to invoices corresponding to the appropriate GL accounts and process vendor invoices for clients.
• Download and code credit card transactions, entering data into accounting systems.
• Conduct monthly reviews and reconciliations of vendor invoices and A/P ledgers; identify missing items and resolve discrepancies.
• Set up new vendors and manage W-9 forms.
• Record customer payments, create client invoices, enter revenue data, and track open receivables.
• Reconcile and process client payroll, including deductions, benefits, taxes, and wage garnishments.
• Maintain employee records along with payroll files.
• Prepare periodic and year-end reports for state and federal agencies, including W-2 reporting.
• Generate monthly financial statements and reports for clients and Boards of Directors.
• Acquire knowledge and utilize Bill.com, ADP RUN, and ADP WorkforceNOW.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent training is required.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Previous experience in payroll, payables, receivables, and reconciliation is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in technology, particularly with Microsoft Office 2007 or newer, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with accounting systems, including QuickBooks (desktop and online versions) and Intacct is preferred.
• Additional technology requirements must be continuously met.
