Experienced Spanish Interpreter – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation mainly within medical environments

• Provide interpretation services for social services, customer care, and financial clients

• Uphold full impartiality and confidentiality at all times

• Begin with Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and have a direct path to Video Remote Interpretation (VRI)

• Employment subject to a monthly minimum of interpreted minutes

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–12+ months of experience in remote medical interpretation

• C1 English proficiency (EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE)

• Preferred certifications: ALTA (9+) or LanguageStat/PICSI (75%–80%+) issued within the last 12 months

• Mastery of medical and customer service terminology

• HIPAA & FWA certified or willing to obtain certification

• Clean background check required

• Hardwired Ethernet connection (no Wi-Fi)

• USB noise-canceling headset required

• Windows 10+ with a minimum of 4GB RAM

• A private and quiet workspace is essential
