Experienced Spanish Interpreter – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation mainly in medical environments.

• Provide interpretation services for social services, customer care, and financial clients.

• Uphold complete impartiality and confidentiality at all times.

• Begin with Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) with a direct route to Video Remote Interpretation (VRI).

• Achieve monthly minimum interpreted minutes.

• Work remotely from locations in Latin America.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–12+ months of experience in remote medical interpretation.

• C1 level English proficiency (EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE).

• Preferred certification from ALTA (9+) or LanguageStat/PICSI (75%–80%+) issued within the last 12 months.

• Mastery of medical and customer service terminology.

• Must be HIPAA & FWA certified or willing to obtain certification.

• Clean background check required.

• Hardwired Ethernet connection (no Wi-Fi allowed).

• USB noise-canceling headset is necessary.

• Windows 10+ with at least 4GB of RAM is required.

• A private, quiet workspace is essential.
