Experienced Spanish Interpreter – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation primarily in medical environments.

• Provide interpretation services for social services, customer care, and financial clients.

• Uphold complete impartiality and confidentiality at all times.

• Begin with over-the-phone interpretation (OPI).

• Transition directly to video remote interpretation (VRI).

• Operate remotely from Latin America.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–12+ months of experience in remote medical interpretation.

• C1 English proficiency, evidenced by EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE scores.

• Preferred certifications include ALTA (9+) or LanguageStat/PICSI (75%–80%+) obtained within the last year.

• Proficient understanding of medical and customer service terminology.

• HIPAA and FWA certified, or willing to acquire certification.

• Must have a clean background check.

• A hardwired Ethernet connection is required; Wi-Fi is not acceptable.

• A USB noise-canceling headset is necessary.

• Must use Windows 10 or newer with a minimum of 4GB RAM.

• Should have a private and quiet workspace.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

• Must be available to meet the monthly minimum interpreted minutes.
