• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation services over the phone and through video between English and Spanish in medical, social services, customer service, and financial environments.
• Enable effective communication between healthcare providers and patients to guarantee clear understanding and quality care.
• Skills in interpreting for medical, customer service, social services, and financial calls.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Experience in remote interpretation in both languages is essential.
• Strong communication and listening abilities.
• Relevant certification in medical interpretation or a similar field.
• Adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Ethernet connection required (must be connected directly to the router using a cable); Wi-Fi is not permitted.
• A noise-canceling microphone and USB headset are necessary. The following brands are approved: Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Plantronics Blackwire C3220 (Poly), and Microsoft Lifechat LX-6000.
• Up-to-date browser: Latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox.
• Processor must be i5 or higher, 6th generation or newer.
• Camera should have a minimum resolution of 1080p.
• Availability for full-time work, 5 days a week (with 2 days off).
• Compensation for each available hour (regardless of whether you are on a call, the hour is paid).
