This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Oversee the planning and implementation of all projects within the team, ensuring compliance with project governance protocols.
• Support and mentor Study Coordinators, empowering them to achieve success and produce consistent results.
• Deploy project management tools and templates within the team to enhance operational efficiency.
• Regularly assess project portfolios for risks, deviations, and resource allocation, driving initiatives for improvement.
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of critical strategic initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, nurturing strong relationships and facilitating effective communication.
• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive resolution of issues to keep projects on track.
• Develop and oversee the study budget.
• Hold overall responsibility for negotiating the financial aspects of clinical performance studies and programs.
• Collaborate with senior internal management and external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination among team members and stakeholders.
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioscience Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in project management, with a proven history in a CRO, IVD, medical device, or life sciences setting.
• Experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects involving global stakeholders.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing project management tools, systems, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic perspective.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Capacity to identify and adapt to changing priorities and competing demands.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player.
• Ability to make timely and well-informed decisions.
• Proficient in conveying information effectively and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
