Experienced Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the progress of projects as Gainwell aids clients in achieving improved health and human services outcomes through the use of technology and innovation.

• Oversee multiple Coordination of Benefits (COB) projects, fostering rapid implementation growth.

• Guide one or more large project management teams by deconstructing larger technological programs and supporting project staffing development.

• Lead project planning, monitoring, and supervision of projects and assigned personnel as necessary, by providing direction and deadlines to ensure high-quality and timely task completion.

• Engage in communication with the client, the company, and project team leadership, assessing and reporting project metrics/status; suggest program modifications when necessary.

• Develop project timelines, program definitions, budgets, and objectives to guarantee the quality of project deliverables at all stages.

• Actively manage projects involving non-direct reports by promptly escalating any risks and enacting risk mitigation strategies.

• Contribute to Gainwell’s expansion by preparing and assisting with new proposal initiatives, business development, and improvements in departmental processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of experience in managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives through the entire project management life cycle.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Medicaid or Medicare is preferred.

• More than 8 years of experience in Payment Integrity COB Audit and Recovery is highly preferred.

• At least 8 years of experience in the healthcare sector, ideally in a claim payment or audit recovery setting.

• A Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is required.

• Familiarity with integrated eligibility systems, MMIS, or Human Services platforms is preferred.

• Capability to lead and translate broader program objectives into clear and attainable project scopes and milestones.

• Ability to train, guide, and mentor junior colleagues effectively.

• Strong executive presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly.

• An influencer capable of articulating project priorities and motivating both direct and indirect networks and stakeholders to take action.
