This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Create, develop, and sustain effective ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Databricks.
• Gather data from relational databases, APIs, files, and cloud storage solutions.
• Execute data transformation, cleansing, validation, and enrichment processes.
• Enhance Spark jobs for optimal performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop reliable, versioned, and auditable data models using Data Lake.
• Design and create Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports.
• Implement performance-tuned DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs.
• Utilize dimensional modeling techniques, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Convert stakeholder business needs into technical solutions and visual representations.
• Maintain documentation for data mapping, transformation specifications, and runbook inputs.
• Assist with deployments across DEV, STG, UAT, and PRD environments.
• Collaborate with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Data Lake Storage and associated services.
• Enforce data governance, security, and access controls, including Power BI row-level security.
• Facilitate CI/CD pipelines for data and BI artifacts.
• Provide technical insights on feasibility, risks, and delivery trade-offs to engagement leadership.
• Uphold standards for documentation, peer reviews, testing, and release readiness.
• Monitor data pipelines and proactively address data quality or performance challenges.
• A minimum of 6 years of programming or testing experience with relevant programming languages, relational databases, operating systems, and software.
• Familiarity with enterprise BI integrations and governed analytics platforms.
• Understanding of claims processing, member and provider enrollment, and management.
• Experience in supporting state Medicaid agencies, MMIS modernization, or Medicaid managed care analytics.
• Knowledge of T-MSIS, CMS reporting requirements, and state-specific Medicaid data standards.
• Understanding of Medicaid claims adjudication, eligibility determination, provider enrollment, and encounter submission workflows.
• Experience with Medicaid quality, compliance, or program integrity reporting.
• Background in the healthcare domain with PBM/PBA data, including pharmacy and program analytics.
• Video cameras are required for all interviews and during the initial week of orientation.
