This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Manage the retail international banking and sales of banking products for expatriate clients.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with international corporate clients and prospects to enhance revenue.
• Promote, sell, and retain customers for retail banking products and services.
• Reach out to corporate clients and individuals to market banking products.
• Refer commercial business opportunities to Relationship Managers and follow up on those referrals.
• Open accounts and clarify U.S. banking customs and practices to international clients.
• Create foreign-language explanatory materials and distribute an international-client newsletter.
• Address inquiries, concerns, and issues related to customer and employee accounts.
• Conduct seminars in both native languages and English regarding retail and international services.
• Respond to requests for international transactions, expatriate loans and accounts, as well as currency and wire requests.
• Seek improvements in workflow processes in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
• Advocate for foreign exchange services targeted at expatriates.
• Provide support to International Relationship Managers.
• Coordinate and assist with various projects.
• Participate in programs and seminars with economic development agencies, chambers of commerce, and trade groups to promote foreign investment.
• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Proficient level of English and bilingual language skills, with Japanese being highly preferred for this position.
• Capability to speak, read, and write in a second language and utilize computer software in that language professionally.
• Generally, 1 to 2 years of professional experience in the financial services sector is expected.
• Previous banking experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in typing, editing, and proofreading business correspondence, as well as preparing reports.
• Strong aptitude for sales.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
• Capacity to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• SAFE Act registration is required upon employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
