Executive Vice President, Global Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the implementation of agentic AI development methodologies to fundamentally transform the software production processes within the engineering organization.

• Take ownership of AI-assisted reverse engineering efforts for the legacy platform to expedite its transition to the modern Asgard architecture.

• Advocate for and enforce the integration of AI throughout the entire development lifecycle.

• Define and implement the technology strategy along with a multi-year engineering roadmap for VikingCloud.

• Oversee the ongoing enhancement of the Asgard platform.

• Make pivotal architectural decisions to break down legacy systems and establish a contemporary platform architecture.

• Convert current manual QA and deployment processes into a fully automated, rapid-release engineering system.

• Foster a metrics-driven engineering culture from the ground up.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of progressive experience in software engineering roles within technology or SaaS companies.

• More than 8 years in senior engineering leadership positions (such as VP of Engineering, CTO, SVP of Engineering, or similar roles).

• Direct, hands-on experience with contemporary agentic AI development tools (including Claude, Cursor, Kiro, GitHub Copilot, MCP-based integrations, or their equivalents).

• Proven experience utilizing AI for the reverse-engineering of legacy codebases.

• Experience leading engineering teams of 150 or more engineers across various geographical locations.

• Specific experience managing a multi-geography operational model with a substantial presence in India.

• Extensive hands-on architectural experience, particularly in leading significant platform modernization initiatives.

• A demonstrated history of successfully executing major cloud infrastructure migrations and consolidations.
