Executive Underwriter, AVP – Underwriting Director, Construction Casualty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manage intricate new and renewal domestic Construction Casualty accounts.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the team.

• Implement and oversee underwriting standards, guidelines, and insurance regulations.

• Build, sustain, and collaborate with representatives from the Line of Business.

• Conduct broker/customer and on-site visits to discover growth opportunities.

• Foster a sales-oriented culture by serving as a resource for agents, brokers, and customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 5 years of experience in the Underwriting field.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 10 years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting Support sectors.

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 3 years of Underwriting experience.

• Proven ability to work under time constraints for quotes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
