Executive Search Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of the recruitment process for executive and senior leadership roles.

• Collaborate with senior executives and hiring authorities to establish role expectations, success criteria, and essential leadership qualities.

• Develop and implement focused search strategies to locate both active and passive candidates.

• Evaluate, present, and guide highly qualified candidates through the interview and selection phases.

• Serve as a brand ambassador, advocating for Duke Health as a preferred employer.

• Deliver regular updates and analytics regarding executive search activities.

• Manage relationships with external recruitment partners as required.

• Maintain the utmost standards of confidentiality, fairness, compliance, and candidate care throughout the recruitment journey.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of executive hiring strategies, processes, and tools.

• Facilitate salary negotiations.

• Motivate, lead, and mentor team members to accomplish recruitment objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline (mandatory).

• At least 7 years of progressive recruitment experience, including a minimum of 3 years focused on executive or leadership-level searches (required).

• Experience in recruiting within healthcare, academic medicine, higher education, or similarly complex, mission-driven organizations is highly preferred.
