This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and establish the IT Commercial & Patient Operations function
• Facilitate the US commercial launch strategy and drive IT launch milestones
• Manage the comprehensive IT Commercial and Medical Affairs roadmap
• Convert functional requirements into an actionable, governed technology portfolio
• Develop and continuously enhance the strategy for the commercial IT landscape
• Own, refine, and implement the IT Commercial & Patient Operations strategy and roadmap
• Coordinate system rollouts with commercial milestones and oversee dependencies across functions, vendors, and global IT
• Deliver the commercial systems portfolio, which includes ecosystem expansion, sales operations, marketing hub, omnichannel engagement, patient operations, commercial analytics, market access hub, and medical affairs
• Provide the patient operations technology stack, encompassing ATC portal, hub and patient services integrations, CRM, allocation and slot management, call center/telephony, and tracking of the end-to-end patient and product journey
• Build the commercial data foundation, including master data management, commercial data warehouse and data lake, reporting and analytics, and AI-enabled use cases
• Drive integrations with enterprise systems
• Ensure that commercial and patient-facing systems comply with GxP/CSV requirements, 21 CFR Part 11, SOX, transparency reporting, HIPAA, GDPR, and relevant cybersecurity requirements
• Oversee vendors, external partners, and implementation providers throughout the commercial portfolio, managing contracts, budgets, and performance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Over 15 years of IT experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector
• More than 7 years in senior leadership roles
• Proven experience leading IT for at least one US commercial product launch readiness, preferably as IT launch lead
• Extensive knowledge of the commercial and medical affairs pharma systems landscape
• Experience in Cell & Gene therapy is highly preferred
• Proficient in establishing commercial data foundations, including Master Data Management, integrations, data warehouse/lake, reporting, and analytics
• Familiarity with GxP/CSV, 21 CFR Part 11, and healthcare data privacy regulations, including HIPAA
• Capability to build and lead teams, manage vendors and budgets, and deliver a multi-project portfolio while meeting fixed regulatory milestones
• Proficient in communicating complex issues and business needs to stakeholders and end-users
• Possess executive presence and high emotional intelligence; able to influence and align senior leaders and stakeholders without formal authority
• Strong governance, prioritization, and decision-making skills in a multi-project environment with strict milestones
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
