This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the technology strategy for Enabling Functions, ensuring alignment of technology initiatives with the priorities of Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Legal & Compliance, and Business Development.
• Foster innovation by deploying advanced technology solutions that improve the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of enterprise services and corporate operations.
• Supervise the development and execution of systems and solutions that support essential enterprise functions, including HR, communication platforms, legal and compliance tools, and business development systems.
• Facilitate data-driven decision-making by enhancing data integration, governance, analytics, and AI-powered insights across enabling functions.
• Safeguard the integrity, security, and governance of enterprise data, particularly related to employee, communications, legal, and strategic partnership datasets.
• Emphasize process optimization and automation to streamline workflows across HR, communications, compliance, and business development, minimizing manual effort and enhancing user experience.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure that technology solutions are compliant with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and global compliance standards, especially concerning HR data privacy and legal/regulatory domains.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless integration of technology solutions across enterprise platforms and business units.
• Oversee and mentor a global team of technology professionals, nurturing a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Keep updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI, digital workplace tools, and enterprise platforms, ensuring the organization stays at the forefront of innovation.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance enterprise capabilities and support enabling function strategies.
• Provide strategic leadership to a global technology organization, establishing vision, priorities, and an operating model to effectively support Enabling Functions.
• Advocate for change management and adoption, collaborating with functional leaders to ensure the successful implementation of new technologies, processes, and methodologies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, influencing decision-making and aligning technology priorities with broader business strategies and transformation initiatives.
• Encourage strong cross-functional collaboration and communication, ensuring alignment between GTS teams and business stakeholders, while eliminating barriers to execution.
• Bachelor's degree with over 14 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with more than 10 years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Extensive experience in technology leadership roles supporting enterprise or corporate functions (e.g., HR, Legal, Communications, Commercial/BD).
• Deep understanding of enterprise platforms such as HRIS systems, collaboration tools, document management systems, and compliance technologies.
• Expertise in software development, data management, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to HR, data privacy, and legal domains (e.g., GDPR).
• Experience in leveraging AI and automation to enhance enterprise operations and improve employee or stakeholder experiences.
• Strong capabilities in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple global priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in technology leadership roles within the Biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive knowledge of AI technologies and their application within the Biotech sector.
