This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive excellence in operations, financial management, compliance, scalability, and digital transformation within the Clinical Business Operations team.
• Supervise investigator budgets, site contracts, site payments, and the budget data hub team.
• Align regional execution strategies with global governance frameworks, establishing accountability, decision-making, and escalation processes.
• Lead quarterly business reviews, escalation meetings, and executive reporting.
• Own and track operational and financial KPIs related to investigator budgeting, site contracting, payments, and budget data governance.
• Provide strategic oversight for planning investigator fee budgets and financial forecasting.
• Direct the development, review, negotiation, and execution of site budgets and clinical trial agreements.
• Oversee the complete site payment and reconciliation processes.
• Manage the collection, validation, and maintenance of budget information in databases and systems.
• Ensure documentation is prepared for audits and complies with regulatory, financial, and internal governance standards.
• Maintain oversight of Sunshine reporting and global transparency obligations.
• Supervise outsourced vendors and external business partners.
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance on accruals, forecasts, and reconciliations.
• Manage operational finances and team resources.
• Lead, mentor, and assess team performance.
• Support automation tools and digital solutions to enhance productivity.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Medical Science/Medical, Finance, Health Economics, or related fields.
• Over 14 years of experience in clinical operations, study start-up, clinical site budgets, or clinical site contracts within a pharmaceutical sponsor or CRO setting.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Proficient in effectively leading teams in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
• Excellent executive communication skills with the capability to present data-driven insights to senior management.
• Solution-oriented and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to analyze intricate financial data and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Finance, Payments, and Legal stakeholders.
• Advanced skills in Excel and data analytics tools.
• Familiarity with budget systems and contract lifecycle management platforms.
• Good understanding of ICH-GCP and pharmaceutical-related regulations and laws.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, CTMS, Contract Lifecycle Management System, Veeva, and SharePoint.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% of the time.
