This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Supervise all civic programming to inspire and mobilize a community of citizens actively endorsing Builders' mission and values, ensuring government accountability to the populace.
• Guide digital followers through the engagement pipeline—from mere clicks and likes to amplifying their voices to influence policy.
• Create a comprehensive toolkit that includes educational workshops, training programs, and resources to support Builders' audience and promote adaptable thinking.
• Establish a credentialing system, volunteer initiatives, local chapters, and/or town halls to facilitate member engagement progression.
• Build, nurture, and lead a high-performing team.
• Cultivate a Builders-centric culture within the organization, emphasizing role clarity, aligned OKRs, and opportunities for professional development.
• Efficiently manage program budgets and resources.
• Formulate and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy targeting key stakeholders in Texas to support Texas-focused initiatives.
• Seek and pursue funding opportunities through grants, partnerships, and donor engagements.
• Create and execute strategies to expand grassroots membership and the Movement Partner coalition.
• Develop top-tier mechanisms to ensure local elected officials remain accountable to the public's will.
• Serve as a public-facing representative for Builders Texas, participating in conferences and events, and engaging in interviews with both local and national media.
• Collaborate with Builders Media to synchronize media campaigns, civic engagement efforts, and educational programs.
• Implement impact measurement frameworks to evaluate program effectiveness and outcomes.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading initiatives, coalitions, or programs, preferably within the political sphere, civic engagement, or community impact as an Executive Director or CEO of a mission-driven organization.
• Extensive knowledge of the political, cultural, and social landscape, both in Texas and nationally, acquired through experience in or alongside government, community organizing, or civic engagement.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Proven experience in building and scaling programs or initiatives from the ground up.
• Demonstrated ability to unite diverse groups to achieve shared objectives.
• Proficiency in managing complex projects, encompassing event planning, stakeholder coordination, and budget management.
• Competitive annual salary [$250,000 - 275,000].
