This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and take ownership of Engine's comprehensive creative vision and expression across brand identity, campaigns, and more.
• Direct and oversee Engine's entire creative team, which includes creative directors, brand and growth designers, as well as copywriters—setting the course, nurturing talent, and maintaining a high standard for creative excellence.
• Shape the creative culture and standards that dictate how the team collaborates, evolves, and produces exceptional output at scale.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Brand and VP of Brand and Design to synchronize the creative vision with brand strategy, business objectives, and organizational priorities.
• Work closely with the Creative Ops Director to guarantee that the team is well-resourced, structured, and functioning with the clarity and efficiency required by the work.
• Act as the ultimate creative authority for all brand output, encompassing campaigns, design systems, content, product storytelling, and beyond.
• Identify and address capability gaps within the organization through hiring, nurturing existing talent, and creating the right balance of internal and external resources.
• Represent the creative organization at the executive level, articulating the vision, advocating for investment, and fostering alignment across senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain relationships with top-tier agency and production partners, enhancing the ambition and quality of Engine's creative work at every level.
• Make tough decisions regarding work, personnel, and priorities with clarity, conviction, and a focus on the team's long-term performance.
• Over 15 years of experience in creative leadership, with a proven history of building and managing high-performing creative organizations in highly ambitious and fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver top-tier creative output at scale—across campaigns, brand systems, content, and integrated experiences—without compromising quality or speed.
• A people-first leader who is deeply committed to talent development, establishes a high-performance standard, and excels at bringing out the best in diverse creative teams.
• Extensive knowledge across creative disciplines, including brand design, growth, copywriting, campaigns, and production.
• Exceptional organizational instincts, with an understanding of how to structure teams, allocate resources, and create operational conditions that foster creativity.
• Strong executive presence and communication abilities, capable of aligning a group, making a persuasive case for creative investment, and representing the organization with clarity and confidence.
• A genuine creative force with a unique and distinctive perspective.
