Art Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Works alongside the Design Director and Editor-in-Chief to establish and uphold visual and brand-design standards.

• Aids in the recruitment, management, and oversight of photographers, videographers, and other visual artists.

• Develops and sustains a network of top contributors in the visual media field.

• Supports the planning and execution of on-location photo and video shoots.

• Oversees the design of Wildsam books.

• Collaborates with the Digital Editor for digital publication design as needed.

• Offers design assistance for marketing and sales outreach initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in art direction, graphic design, photo editing, or production.

• Experience in coordinating photo/video production and providing creative direction.

• Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

• Familiarity with book and magazine page design, including photo layout and typesetting.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, particularly concerning photography assignments and production specifics.
