This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Transform the CMO’s brand strategy and positioning into practical creative direction across all platforms.
• Establish visual guidelines for brand, performance, and web environments.
• Balance long-term brand building with immediate performance-driven results.
• Create frameworks for creative testing that enhance measurable performance across paid, lifecycle, and on-site channels.
• Serve as the principal creative voice within the marketing department.
• Manage and uphold the Stonehenge Health brand identity across all customer interaction points.
• Develop and implement style guides, visual standards, and brand protocols.
• Ensure creative uniformity across paid media, organic social, email, packaging, and the website.
• Collaborate with the CCO on joint approvals for brand-related creative projects.
• Work alongside the VP of Brand on visual direction for organic content and influencer initiatives.
• Supervise the Performance Design Manager and team in generating high-volume advertising and lifecycle creative.
• Maintain a testing schedule and iteration cycles guided by performance insights.
• Ensure that performance creative aligns with channel-specific KPIs while maintaining brand integrity.
• Partner with the VP of Performance Marketing and the Director of Lifecycle on creative requirements and feedback processes.
• Oversee the design team in creating landing pages, PDPs, site UX, and conversion-focused designs.
• Collaborate with the Head of CRO on the on-site testing roadmap and design execution.
• Partner with the Head of Ecommerce on site merchandising and storefront aesthetics.
• Manage the Creative Operations Manager in overseeing pre and post-production for photo and video assets.
• Develop SLA frameworks and intake processes for creative demands across all channels.
• Coordinate creative team resources in response to brand, performance, and ecommerce demands.
• Enhance internal video and post-production capabilities to decrease dependence on external vendors.
• Supervise the medical and expert advisory board program for content credibility, brand placements, and earned media opportunities.
• Lead a creative team of approximately 8-10 across brand, performance, web, and operations sub-functions.
• Direct reports include the Senior Creative Lead, Performance Design Manager, Creative Operations Manager, and design Independent Contributors (ICs) across Brand/Core.
• Recruit and onboard additional creative team members as the function expands.
• Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and development plans.
• Cultivate a culture of creative excellence, rigorous analysis, and high-output iteration.
• Report to the CMO and act as the centralized creative authority across all channels.
• Collaborate with the Copy Director, Director of Product Marketing, Consumer Insights Lead, VP of Brand, and Head of Content on cross-functional initiatives that enhance creative performance.
• Work with the VP of Performance Marketing, Director of Lifecycle, Head of CRO, and Head of Ecommerce on creative strategies that drive growth and conversions.
• Coordinate with the CCO for joint approvals on brand-related creative work.
• Over 10 years of experience in creative leadership within DTC consumer brands, with at least 5 years at a Director level or higher.
• Proven experience in building and leading centralized creative teams of 8 or more across various sub-functions (brand, performance, web).
• Extensive knowledge in both brand-building and performance creative, with a portfolio showcasing both areas.
• Practical experience with performance creative on platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, native, and email/SMS.
• Strong grasp of testing and iteration cycles in direct response and performance contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-volume creative outputs without compromising quality.
• Experience collaborating with performance marketing, CRO, and ecommerce teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in health, wellness, beauty, or consumables industries is preferred.
• Proficient in standard creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and DTC platforms (Klaviyo, Shopify, or similar).
• Remote-first mindset with the ability to lead distributed teams effectively; preference for candidates within driving distance of Los Angeles, CA.
• Competitive salary: $175,000 - $200,000 (based on experience).
