Associate Director, 3D Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage multiple projects concurrently, adapting to the current client workload throughout the entire design process from the initial concept to final execution.

• Develop and supervise materials for client campaigns, coordinating with third-party vendors as necessary, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism in all outputs.

• Collaborate on creative and production schedules to integrate 3D design deliverables into the overall project timeline.

• Present work to the internal team, justify creative decisions, and accept feedback and revisions with a positive attitude.

• Typical tasks include, but are not limited to, iterative concept studies, schematic spatial layouts, 3D renderings, detailed production drawings and elevations, material studies and specifications, design presentations, and digital assets.

• Must demonstrate teamwork, enthusiasm, commitment, and a positive outlook, with the ability to brainstorm, collaborate, and take creative direction in a fast-paced environment.

• Stay updated on the latest design trends, technologies, and software to enhance design proficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in environmental, exhibit, and installation design within the Experiential Sector.

• A portfolio showcasing the ability to create innovative, evocative, and engaging environments through sketches, fully rendered 3D models, and detailed production drawings.

• Strong adaptive design eye and skill.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Capability to receive and implement constructive criticism from peers and clients.

• Proficient in translating feedback from senior creatives into finalized designs and collateral.

• Ensure production files are correctly built and adhere to specified parameters for each project.

• Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
