This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• You will contribute to our company's expansion by securing new restaurant partnerships.
• You will efficiently pursue leads and finalize agreements with target restaurants through cold calling, fieldwork, virtual presentations, and other methods.
• You will make a positive first impression, clearly convey the advantages of foodpanda's premium offerings, and negotiate contracts with partner restaurants.
• Present foodpanda’s packages to potential vendors in an effective and innovative manner.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure successful vendor onboarding.
• Surpass sales targets: The Business Development Executive will be vital in driving both volume and quality sales while achieving performance-based objectives, both individually and as part of a team.
• They will be driven to exceed sales goals and aid in the ongoing growth of foodpanda. Sales incentives will be provided to reward outstanding performance.
• Act as the local representative in the area: monitor competitor activities, gather feedback, and offer recommendations to maintain a strong market presence.
• As a local market expert, the Business Development Executive will collect feedback from partner restaurants and provide valuable insights for management improvements.
• They will possess a solid understanding of the food market, proactively engage with quality vendors, and remain informed about the latest developments to effectively support foodpanda's success.
• A candidate with a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, mass communication, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, business development, upselling, or related areas is required, preferably with field sales experience.
• A good understanding of Sales Pipeline Management is essential.
• Strong communication skills. Ideally, comfortable speaking in English, Filipino, and the local dialect of the area.
• Open to fresh graduates, preferably with sales experience gained through internships.
• Willingness to engage in extensive fieldwork within Pampanga/Tarlac.
• Persuasive and highly motivated to exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills, including a clear and confident speaking voice and a friendly rapport with customers/clients.
• Ability to be flexible and creative when interacting with customers/clients.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems is advantageous.
• A self-motivated team player with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
