This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Drive New Revenue Growth: Identify, pursue, and establish new client engagements with mid-market Consumer and Retail brands.
• Lead Outbound Prospecting & Thought Leadership: Create a proactive outbound sales strategy, utilizing your network, industry events, and LinkedIn thought leadership to generate fresh opportunities.
• Sales Pipeline & Deal Management: Develop and sustain a strong pipeline utilizing Salesforce, ensuring steady progression from outreach to closed deals.
• Consultative Selling Approach: Comprehend clients’ commerce media challenges and present Goodway’s capabilities (Full Funnel, Commerce Media, and Creative services) as solutions that yield measurable business results.
• Competitive Positioning: Navigate a competitive environment by articulating Goodway’s unique advantages in Commerce Media, Retail Media Networks (RMNs), and Outcome Engineering™.
• Pitch Quarterback: Collaborate with Pitchlab and Line of Business stakeholders, assisting in the scoping and communication with prospects to meet or exceed SLAs in fulfilling pitch-related commitments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the SVP, BDs, and Brand VPs to ensure a seamless transition from sales to client success teams.
• Industry Representation: Represent Goodway at significant industry panels, conferences, and networking events, establishing yourself as a recognized thought leader in commerce media.
• Legal & Pricing Negotiations: Spearhead pricing discussions and contract negotiations, ensuring that deals are structured for long-term success and profitability. Establish yourself as a knowledgeable thought leader across the industry, particularly within your markets, and serve as the company spokesperson at key industry events, panels, and agency associations.
• Proven Sales Leadership: A track record of driving revenue through new business development.
• Integrated Media Expertise: Capable of addressing client pain points regarding the integration of brand, demand, and national and retail media. Proficient in optimizing media effectiveness and ensuring granular and agile optimization.
• Commerce Media Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Consumer Brands and Retail Media, including familiarity with RMNs, full-funnel marketing, and data-driven performance strategies.
• Strategic Hunting Mindset: Demonstrated success in outbound sales, self-generated pipeline development, and closing enterprise deals.
• Industry Network & Influence: A well-established network of decision-makers in Consumer Brands and Retail, along with a strong personal brand as a LinkedIn thought leader and industry speaker.
• Competitive Acumen: Ability to navigate complex and competitive sales cycles against rival agencies.
• Storytelling & Negotiation Skills: Skilled in crafting compelling narratives that align Goodway’s solutions with client challenges.
• Collaboration & Executive Presence: Capacity to work closely with senior leadership (GMs/VPs) and ensure a seamless transition of client relationships post-sale.
