This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +4 more states.
• Assist in the design and development of executive benefit solutions such as Nonqualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC), Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans (SERPs), Restricted Executive Bonus Arrangements (REBA), and split-dollar arrangements.
• Aid in structuring cases on both fully underwritten and guaranteed issue (GI) platforms to align with client requirements and objectives.
• Contribute to the formulation of funding strategies utilizing COLI, CSIO, and other financing methodologies, ensuring tax efficiency and balance sheet considerations.
• Act as a vital technical resource for various life insurance products (UL, IUL, VUL, WL).
• Provide insights on underwriting factors, carrier selection, and product positioning.
• Assist in policy design decisions, focusing on premium structures, funding strategies, and benefit optimization.
• Convert client goals into comprehensive case designs that include financial modeling, illustrations, and value assessments.
• Help coordinate case execution involving internal stakeholders, carriers, and external partners.
• Ensure case materials are accurate and comply with regulatory and company standards.
• Collaborate with sales teams, consultants, and advisors to enhance the positioning of executive benefit solutions.
• Engage in client meetings and presentations as a technical resource.
• Create supporting materials that improve the communication of case design concepts and recommendations.
• Collect and maintain competitive intelligence regarding carriers, products, and funding strategies.
• Assist in developing internal resources that reflect current market trends and product positioning.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, product modifications, and regulatory changes.
• Contribute to improvements in case design processes, tools, and best practices.
• Facilitate mentoring and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
• 5–8+ years of experience in advanced case design, life insurance consulting, or executive benefits.
• Possession of FINRA Series 6 & 63, along with relevant state life and health licenses (or the ability to obtain them within designated timeframes).
• Experience in supporting both fully underwritten and guaranteed issue (GI) case design.
• Knowledge of COLI, CSIO, and executive benefit funding principles.
• Strong grasp of nonqualified plan design and the mechanics of life insurance products.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Preferred professional designations include CLU, ChFC, CFP®, or CEBS.
• Experience in supporting large corporate clients and executive-level benefit strategies is preferred.
• Proficiency in illustration tools and financial modeling platforms is preferred.
