Lead Game Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for game design and the comprehensive player experience.

• Conduct a thorough assessment of current mechanics, reward systems, and onboarding processes to pinpoint optimization opportunities.

• Suggest and prototype specific improvements for retention strategies, mini-games, and training tasks.

• Create new gameplay systems that align engagement with our client's fundamental neurocognitive objectives.

• Enhance UX elements such as copy, pacing, and friction points throughout the mobile application.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to utilize behavioral data in design decisions.

• Convey concepts through well-defined specifications and actionable prototypes for development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of overall game design experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.

• Significant experience in mobile game design, especially within wellness or casual genres.

• In-depth knowledge of retention mechanics, progression systems, and reward frameworks.

• Mastery of mobile UX principles and funnel-focused product thinking.

• Capacity to give and receive direct, constructive feedback in a fast-paced setting.

• A proactive approach with the ability to tackle complex problems independently.

• Quick execution abilities, transforming ideas into technical documentation with high consistency.

• Strong professional communication skills in English for daily team interactions.
